It is one of the principle beliefs of Islam to believe in all the (true) Prophets (Peace Be Upon Them). Islam shares the Prophets of Judaism and Christianity but has two extra Prophets to them - Jesus and Muhammed. Islam is a religion that follows the God of these Prophets and their teachings. 27 Prophets mentioned in the Quran, 26 of them by name, +4 from hadith, and many many others we don't know about (and I haven't read enough hadiths to know anything of the rest). Some Muslims believe Al-Khidhr was a Prophet as well. Not all verses are mentioned above, but most are.
